back from the 'burgh

joflasherSpent the weekend playing cards and getting pounced at dgr and georgejas's house in Pittsburgh. Great fun but entirely too short. *sigh* Need to get that teleporter working.
The kittens did pretty well their first time being left alone for days on end (Friday night through Sunday night). They ate more food than I thought they would but otherwise were okay. Although their dishes were empty, they didn't come running to eat when I filled them back up, so I'm assuming they weren't hungry yet. Next time, I'll leave out more. They were also completely estatic that we were home. You'd think we'd been gone for months. The Boy actually ended up locking them out of the bedroom around midnight because they wouldn't let him sleep with all the headbutting and purring. The ferrets were their normal "hey, I've been locked in my cage for more than 12 hours" selves ... squeaking poofballs with springs for legs.
