joflashersaid the Boy last Sunday after I convinced him to jump into a pile of leaves with me. Of course, once in said pile of leaves, I promptly pounced him and started a tickle war. We spent all evening trying to get the leaf bits out of our fleece jackets. It was a good weekend. Now to just finish raking the damn leaves and finish mulching three more flower beds and we're done with the outside of the house until the snows it.
Not looking forward to shoveling my driveway this year.

Speaking of which, we are on severe weather alert for tomorrow night due to a cold front ... "BRINGING A MIXTURE OF RAIN... SLEET... FREEZING RAIN AND SNOW. THE PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED TO START AS RAIN FRIDAY MORNING... THEN MIX WITH WET SNOW DURING THE AFTERNOON." Doesn't sound like we're going to get the worst of it but its supposed to get to 60 degrees today. *sigh* I'm not ready for winter yet but winter is apparently ready for me.
