fuzzy experiments #6, #7, and #8
Jul. 1st, 2002 07:13 pmFriday night - pretty good. I left them argue it out on their own. No more blood, lots of screaming but eventually they settled down. Ended with them avoiding one another and playing with Boy and . I was definitely hopeful.
Saturday morning - left them both loose while Boy and I were getting ready to go camping. Tira promptly attacked Midori and bit her down over her back hard enough to bleed. I broke them up and in the process, Tira managed to bite me right in the meaty part of my pointer finger on my right hand. Pluck, scruff, in the cage. Pour peroxide all over my bloody finger. Put Midori away and head off camping. Finger was infected by Sunday.
Monday morning - finger is lanced and finally healing. Turned monsters loose. More fighting, more Midori defending an area. More avoidance. I put them away when Tira was digging to get back into her cage.
All in all, things are getting better. From now on, though, I'm using my slippered foot to break them up
