dumb rats

So last night the ferrets were arguing over who got to be in the big cage. I'm pretty fed up with the whole mess and since they are no longer drawing blood, I decided I was done stopping them. They spent a good 10 minutes with one on either side of the wire ramp going up to the top floor. They were digging and biting at each other through the wire and basically both acting like they were the meanest rat on the planet. Then Tira walked around the litter box and *flomped* down, doing the ferret speed bump trick. Midori did the same thing on the other side of the litter box and they both just laid there looking at one another, like "I'm tired", "yeah, me too", " call it a break?" After a bit, they got up, went back to the ramp and started fighting through it again, complete with Midori's earsplitting screams.

Dumb rats.
This weekend I'm locking them in a cage together until they either draw blood or give up. I've been playing this game for a month. Enough is enough.

You tried the dousing them in baby powder trick, right?

Not baby powder. I've put vanilla on their noses, thrown them into cold water, sprayed them down with bitter apples and attacked them with the broom to break up fights and its still not working.
