Aug. 7th, 2002 12:09 pmI get to go on vacation. I get to go on vacation. My demo is during the first week of September. Yes, its going to suck coming back from vacation, recovering through Labor day and then having 3 days to make everything work but I DON'T CARE. I GET TO GO ON VACATION!!!
Boy and I had to go down to Logan yesterday at 6 in the fricken morning to get our tickets exchanged. We ended up being owed a refund and the bastards at American Airlines decided to give it to us in vouchers instead of as a credit to the credit card that paid for the trip. Note, we are not happy about this and Boy is trying to get it fixed. He won't let me do it. He says I'm too violent towards AA. I have no idea what he's talking aboutbastards anyways!
And to top it all off, I'm sketching again. Even being creative about it, though the current sketch has me disturbed. This recent group of sketches has ended up being very dark and muddled. Muddled is normal for this style, since I'm working fast with soft pencils and I don't take the time to keep from smearing them. One or two more and I might actually try to do "art" again.
This means that I haven't been keeping up with dishes and stuff but, once again, I DON'T CARE. After letting them sit for a week, Boy actually started to do them. He didn't finish but he started. I'm going to let the tub of water with all the yicky dirty dishes sit in the kitchen for another week and see if he'll actually finish them.
Life is good.
Add more climbing and Life just might be great.
