a good swift kick in the ass ... but in a good way.

The other night I came home from work feeling like I had been run over by a truck and left lay in the sun for three months while other trucks ran over my flattened, decaying corpse. I blame Makefiles. Anyways, while at the store, I picked up a RedBull thingy. All I can say is WOW. Wonderful stuff. Tastes like the bottom of a bird cage but after chugging half the bottle in 5 minutes, I felt wonderul. Awake, energetic and without the nasty caffiene headache that coffee or Mt. Dew would have given me. Definitely need to keep this stuff in mind for those Makefile type days.

Relaxing weekend. Dim Sum yesterday with S and A and A's sister's family. Taking 3 young childern to Dim Sum was kind of fun. Went to Walden Pond afterwards for about 3 hours of swimming fun. Came home, made up a dish out of my new fish cook book that involved lots of red wine and watched Shrek yet again. And since we had the wine open anyways...never let good red wine go to waste :)
