Fuzzy experiment #3
Jun. 25th, 2002 12:56 pmResults - not good. Fight, bath, more fighting, Midori getting her butt kicked. Midori retreating under a towel for over an hour, defending it from all comers, including me. Midori becoming a shaking, screaming, psychotic ball of fuzz when touched by any living creature. Midori getting sick and throwing up all through Tira's cage.
Midori just isn't having a good time at this. Before, Midori was always the aggressor and Tira would just defend herself. Now Tira is attacking Midori and Midori is running away and doing the above. I think Tira has decided that Midori is mean and should be beaten up or something. I'm pretty sure Midori getting sick last night was a result of furballs, since she's had 4 baths in 3 days and each bath is followed by massive amounts of licking.
Future plans - keep switching them between cages so they get used to one another's smell. Make sure that they each get plenty of time to run and play before I put them together so neither of them is especially energy filled. Give them both lots of furball remedy. *sigh* I want my happy, friendly, playful fuzzies back. And I don't want to have to break Midori's little brain with fear to do it.
