quick update
Sep. 23rd, 2002 11:16 amHome life - Boy rocks. End of story. Of course, the Boy also forgot his keys on Friday and was locked out of the house for a few hours since I was staying late at work, but hey, no one's perfect.
GRE - Not bad. I didn't do as well as I had hoped but I also didn't do as badly as I had feared. Still above average on the global testing scale but no longer in the 90%. Someone raised the fricken bar on me when I wasn't looking...
Work - Just finished a big part of the ass kicking problem. Now to tackle part two. Oh, did I mention my deadline moved from the end of October to the middle of October, then moved AGAIN to this Wednesday, all with no significant lessening of expectations OR any more workers assigned to it. I found out about the new deadline on Friday. I am not a happy work camper.
Car - I bought one. A nice silver '01 Subaru Forester with 23,000 miles on it. Got a decent deal on it too. The priced dropped by $1000 from the sticker price. Its amazing what salesmen will do if you waffle and look indecisive enough. I'm not a huge fan of the forester, I was looking for a honking big outback, but hey, the price was good and I liked the car. Its a manual, which I'm not great at but its so much more forgiving than the Boy's ZOOooomobile. Now to do the insurance stuff.
