Long time, no post.
Life's been going normally. I spent 6 weeks in the "ack, we have no budget, don't do anything" stage of my project then I got 5 days notice to put everything back together and get RESULTS for a customer demo. Dumb game.
Went snowboarding for the first time this year. On that hideously cold Tuesday a week ago. Boy came down off of one run where they were making snow and had an ice sheet on his face where the fake snow melted and then refroze. It was very very cold. I still can't make the transition from heel edge to toe edge. This means I still can't just gracefully glide down the mountain. Toe to heel, no problem. Heel to toe, I splat every time. I like my helmet. Need to get longer straps for my bindings. Once the cold stiffened them up, they were a major pain in the ass to get locked into place.
Took Majic out for a trot around in the snow last weekend. Wheee...she liked snow. She had her tail flagging at a walk and we spent a good 30 minutes bouncing around in a circle before she settled down. I think she wanted to roll in the snow but I wasn't having any of it.
Other than that, christmas shopping, work, art, sewing, wheeee.
