Its little and black with "grip" written on it in a funny font and its just the right size to snuggle into the palm of my hand and its wonderfully, densely squeezy and it weighs a pound. Yep, a full pound in a 2-2.5 inch diameter ball. I love my ball. Its very hard to squeeze and stretches out my fingers and stuff. Its a good ball.
For months I've had a mound of powerputty at my desk to help fight off RSI and to strengthen my hands for climbing. Eight month old powerputty is pretty gross stuff and it was getting way too soft to be useful for finger exercises. But now I have my little ball and all is well with the world.
Side note - my work area is covered in figit toys. If I'm not typing with both hands, then one hand has a toy in it. My coworkers know this and also know that they are welcome to play with the fidget toys while they are in my office. One of them picked up my little black ball today and squeezed it. He couldn't even get it to dent. I can flatten it out double its normal width with one hand. Guess the powerputty did its job after all.
