the gfx contest doesn't end until midnight tonight PST, or 3:00 AM tomorrow EST. I thought it was done at noon today. So the big question now is, can I finish the leaf picture given ~9 hours (assuming I stay up till 3 and work)? Cause if the answer is no, I want to go up to the barn and ride my pony. If the answer is yes, then I need to paint like the wind, cause the newest version of autumn is throughly kicking ass, in my humble opinion, and all I have left is the about 50% of the girl, <50% of the foreground tree and the leaves. Can I do that in 9 hours? How much is work going to suck tomorrow if I do?
As far as my pony goes, I haven't been on her in over a week and I have a lesson with a dressage instructor next sunday. I'm afraid she's going to be a poingy mess if I don't ride her until the lesson. Maybe I can just plan to go up early on sunday and run it out of her in the meadow. I'm taking dressage lessons because Tisa still has the grace of a drunken wombat and its going to be too icy real soon to do any thing else with her. Dressage is slow and controlled and I can do it in the yucky weather with a pregnant clutz of a horse. Once the storms actually hit, I think I'll teach her to ground drive...then next summer we'll be all set to hook her up to a cart. Next winter, one horse open sleigh. Sounds like a plan...wonder if the Boy will buy me a sleigh for christmas if I ask nicely...
