Nov. 14th, 2003 06:36 pmI kept putting it off and putting it off and now I've paid the price.
I just removed a good 4 inches of hair this evening. I didn't want to do it but I kept avoiding trimming it and basically ignoring it until this morning when I had to fight a comb through it. That's when I took a good long look and realised that I had damage everywhere. So off it went. My hair is now just a little bit longer than shoulder length once again. Oh well, it only took a few years to grow, right?
On the upside, this isn't nearly as bad as the last time I decided my hair was damaged beyond all repair. Senior year of college I went from small of the back length hair to less than an inch in one swell fwoop. I might have done it again if I thought I could cut a short do on myself with any accuracy. Longer hair is so much easier to cut yourself...
