Mar. 4th, 2004 02:18 pmThings are pretty damn hectic here. The Boy and I officially started house hunting this week. In the last 4 days, we've driven by about 25 houses. We're going to go look at 5 of them this weekend. We're mainly looking in the Woburn/Burlington/Stoneham type areas. Still, house hunting is eating up all my evenings. Its exhausting and I'm glad we're not going to do this for 6 months.

georgejas and dgr remember the convex hull problem from Algorithms? Remember the weeks and weeks we spent studying the 80 different solutions to the convex hull problem? Remember how we grumbled and complained that no one in the working world ever had to solve a convex hull problem and that it was a colossal waste of time? Guess what I'm doing right now? Yep, a convex hull problem. See, maybe those 4 years of schooling were useful after all. First Big O analysis, now convex hulls, next thing you know, I'll have to break out the splay trees on some poor slob.
