Rat update

Yep, Tira had a "snack" hidden in her nest. It was one of those plastic bird balls that she had somehow broken in two. She had torn all the ribs off of it and had apparently been knawing them down. I completely tore the cage apart, removed all the pieces I could find and I still had less than 1/2 of the ball. Here's hoping all the swallowed pieces pass through okay.
