5 hours is NOT enough sleep
Sep. 2nd, 2004 10:27 amI was up until 1 getting the last painting finished and matted for WorldCon. Alarm went off at 5:30. I finally crawled out of bed around 6. I've been keeping myself on my feet by applying illegally high doses of caffiene to myself in the form of coffee and brownies.
The painting turned out nicely, though. I even still thought so this morning.
Note: Kittens are NOT conductive to hours of intense painting. In fact, I got so annoyed with them that I locked their little clawing butts up in the bathroom for most of the evening.
My Boy once again proved himself to be a wonderful boy and matted stuff for me last night. He only really needed to mat 2 pictures. All the others I had mats cut for. As is, I have 6 paintings and 2 prints going.
Paintings:
Autumn Fading
Stalking
Snagged
A hydraulic frog, a wierd little dude and a collaborative work called the Rat King. The Rat King was a pencil sketch by Nick Graves. You can see it over at his gallery on Deviant. I'll have pages up for these three probably tomorrow. I'm too tired today.
The prints are just
Dryad
and
End of the Storm
If you stop in at WorldCon, definitely stop in at the art show. Some of the artists showing there this year are truely worth a look or two.
