Can't seem to catch a break this winter

Home with sinus infections and viral laryngitis. Not fun, although I can occasionally scare the cats with my croaking. It's ironic that I can communicate effectively with K down in Cambridge but I can't get Josh's attention upstairs without walking up there myself. Technology, you both rock and fail.

Car had to have $$$ work done on it this week as well. Apparently I put a good size hole in my exhaust system somehow. Poor old car. I really need to start thinking about something a bit younger.

Still, it isn't all bad.

My new netbook rocks in so many cute ways.

We're in the process of puppy proofing the house (which involves discussions about the temptation factor of various litter boxes). My car no longer sounds like a jet engine. And there are rumors of another Hawaii trip, this time WITH volcanoes. So I'm hopeful.

Tomorrow will be better. Or the next day. Or next week (doctor's worse case scenario).

At the very worst, April will rock and winter is always a bit touch and go anyways. So there.
