Messing up a perfectly bad movie

joflasherSo I rented Legend on DVD the other night. Now don't get me wrong, I adored this movie when I was a teenager. A sexy guy, unicorns and a killer dress. Oh, and Tom Cruise wasn't bad either. Eventually I grew out of my Legend kick (don't ask about Labyrinth) and moved on to better things (I hope). But I had a free rental coming to me and the Boy had never seen it and *insert more excuses here*
I've seen the US theatrical version a million times, so I figured "why not" when I saw there was a director's cut version on the DVD. YUCK! So its a half hour longer and 90% of those extra minutes are just filler. No, really. 5 minutes of Lily crossing a field singing. WTF?!?! Bah. It wasn't a good movie to begin with and the DC was just terrible. I hate it when they do that to movies...make a DC just because that is what you are supposed to do. Double Bah!
