joflasherI spent all day redoing the leaf picture. I was hoping to get it done for in time for the GFX contest but its not going to happen. I'm tired, my back hurts from doing my igor hunch over the tablet and there's no way in hell its getting finished before I have to leave for work tomorrow. I have a background of sky and autumn leaves and most of the foreground tree done. Haven't even begun on all those leaves yet. Not looking forward to it. On the up side, though, I've fixed a lot of what I wasn't happy about in round one. I did miss one anatomy error, though, and its now painted fast on the second.
Here's the original version, for those of you who haven't seen it. Yes, major parts of it are missing. I don't have a "pure" version scanned anymore, only the girl. The watercolor version is a good deal smaller than the pencil version and I needed to scale her down.
FOUR FUCKING YEARS! And this is the THIRD version. There was a fairly detailed pencil sketch and a pastel color test before this. Bastard thing anyways. I WILL FINISH IT BEFORE I START ANOTHER PAINTING!
