joflasherThey are going to try to announce winners for the contest at 5:00 PM on Friday. I'm wondering if the PST or EST cause, well, I'm anal like that. But still, deadlines are good....
In other news...well, there is no other news. I work, I go home, I paint, I fall over, go boom. Boy works, Boy comes home, Boy reads or watches a movie, Boy falls over, goes boom. Not exactly the life of the party, ya know?
Ah, wait, there is other news. I will be having a Halloween party on Nov.1 at my house, starting around 8:00. Consider yourselves invited. That's Saturday night after Halloween, which gives me all day to clean and bake and decorate. Standard Jo Party Rules apply. If you don't know what that means, email me and I will rant long and hard about Standard Jo Party Rules. Costumes are a must but don't have to be complicated. Be warned, I've taken a page fromstarherd's book...anyone showing up without a costume will be given one at the discretion of the host and that's me. There will be lots of food and drink. All you need to bring is your good company (and costume). Maybe I'll even mull some wine and cider since I'll have all day.
Ebay front is going as expected. Most of my arty friends who sell on ebay say that it takes a while to actually build up any sort of response. I'm being bad and planning to try to snipe a courbette saddle here later today. I know I said I wasn't going to buy Tisa a saddle until after she has her baby and stops growing but its going dirt cheap right now...I'm a bad person, aren't I?
