I didn't win over at gfx. Hell, even the people I was rooting for didn't win and I thought they had much better chances than I did. I'm a little bitter about part of the judging criteria, as they could have told us a few crutial facts at the beginning of the contest instead of at the end but all in all I'm okay with how things went. Don't know if I'll bother competeing in the next one, which is supposively sometime in the spring. I have a feeling watercolors just aren't the medium for tshirt work and frankly I'm not ready to change quite yet. I think my next medium will be oils but I have a bad habit of licking the end of my brush all the time and 90% of oils are extremely poisonious. I think I'll wait until I break myself of that habit...

Still, gotta take the good with the bad and starherf and tg2k's spawning vastly outweighs the bad from on little contest. yay, I'm a ... a...what the hell am I when I'm the mother's best friend? Spawnlings great friend? Something. YAY!

I don't know about you, but I'm damned well going to insist on being referred to as an Uncle for the Spawn ;)
(I was at least 6 before I discovered that one of my "uncles" was not actually related to me in any way... I see nothing wrong with that ;) )
