Blasted distractions

So I should be painting...well, actually, I should be working but, when I'm not supposed to working, I should be painting. Unfortunately, the world has conspired to keep me distracted. First, the zipper on my coat breaks. No problem, I can install a zipper in less than an hour. I break out all the gear and plan on just getting it done as quickly as possible. Instead, I spend a good 3 hours redesigning the front of my coat. I spent another hour hunting through my VAST fabric collection looking for this one type of fabric that I KNOW I have just to do piping with. While hunting through the horde, I found all sorts of sewing projects I've been putting off...my quilt, an Arabian Native costume for my horse that I barely started, lots of gowns and even a few everyday wear type projects. Now I want to sew. But I should be painting *sigh*

yeah. Don't force yourself to paint, or say "I should be painting" There's no surer way of turning yourself off from it!

that's okay... i should be sewing and I'm getting all sorts of other things done...
