when the hours go by like minutes
May. 10th, 2002 01:44 pmI wish! I just finished the documentation work I had planned to have last me all day today. This means at least two hours of not having anything to do. Suck.
Normally this wouldn't bother me but I've spent a lot of time this last week with nothing to do. The hours go by soooo slooooooowly when all you have to do is read boring tech manuals and surf the web.
My simulation is broken but its not my code that's the problem. The guy who wrote that code keeps taking it, futzing with it, handing it back and then I have to run it and say "nope, still broke". To be fair, every time he's handed it back, its worked on the case that it broke on the time before and is a little bit more stable. Still, this equals me sitting on my hands for large stretches of time waiting for him to get the code back to me. Dumb game.
