money, work and the lack of time

joflasherJust got my check from WorldCon. Yay, money. Of course, I have to throw it at the various loans I have (car, 2 mortgages) but that's okay. Its nice to get money in the mail.
In other news, life as the replacement Bill is becoming more interesting. I was just made system adminstrator for a huge network thingy that I have NO CLUE how to even navigate as a user, let alone as the admin. The project manager said "I have faith in you" ... which is good but I wish I had some documentation or something, then I could have faith in me too.
Had one of those evenings where I just go home and fall over asleep last night. I was in bed by 8:30 or so and slept clear through till the alarm woke me up this morning. It doesn't happen often but its a pain anyways. I got NOTHING done last night. Okay, I did a load of dishes but I had planned to start a painting, scan in some finished work and maybe go see my pony. As is, I didn't even eat dinner. Dumb game anyways.
