Cobalt & Iron Oxide

I'm really happy with the rusty sections on this. Not so thrilled about the gold, though. I still haven't figured out how to do shiney metals with watercolors.

Other than art, this weekend was good. Tisa is healing. I had to go buy a bunch of standing and polo wraps for her legs to help reduce the swelling in the injured one. The vet doesn't want the swelling getting down to the stitches, so every evening I go wrap 14+ feet of fleece around each of her front legs leg. It takes awhile and Tisa thinks nothing is more fun than to grab them and wwwrrriiippp.

The Boy got it into his head that he wants to redo the walls in the living room. He's got about half of it sanded down and replastered. There's plaster dust all through the house now but he's happy.

Dammit, need to get prints of a few things...and I realized recently that your frogs (well, I'm not sure, but I think at the time it was just one frog, or gecko, or something...curse my memory) would be a particularly nice complement to the downstairs walls where we're moving.

I don't have prints available of them yet. I'm waiting to hear back about a licensing deal on them before I make my own run of prints.

On a side note, I noticed the fluid tubes on his back look like roof racks ... wonder how many bungies you need to strap stuff to a frog

Oh, and there's current 3 of these little robotcritters. Two frogs and one gecko.
