Spent last night sewing. I got my costume done and a decent start on the Boy's. Normally he does his own sewing but he was cutting mats for my new prints. I figured it was a decent trade off ... I sew up the nastier of his two costume pieces and he makes massive amounts of matts. The costume itself isn't nasty, its actually fairly straight forward. Its just the chiffon ... it wants to creep and crawl EVERYWHERE. You have to pin it every inch. Of course, it doesn't help that Midori got ahold of my pin cushion and now I only have maybe 50 straight pins to my name. Foul ferret.
This weather has pretty much stripped the trees out near us. So much for my firey autumn.

Date: 2005-10-25 08:51 pm (UTC)and actually turned nice colors. The aspens went gold, the weird lilacs out front went muddy orange,
and the apple tree out back (after Husband Dear cut off the top half or so, which broke in the snow)
turned a nice firey red/orange.
And then two days ago all the leaves fell off the lilacs.
Today they're almost all off the apple tree.
I'm waiting for the aspens to go nekkid, but they seem to be taking their time. :-P
So what are you guys doing for Halloween?
*curious what all the chiffon is about*
*Still wanna make a good Alucard for Josh*
