Fox Fairy

Once again, metallic acrylic inks are not my scanner's friend. They are fun to watch flow through the pen nib, though. Its rather hypnotic having liquid gold running down the ink channel and pooling out around the point. I think I need to do some splatter work with these inks just go get them out of my system.

I did this off and on last night during gaming as an attempt to remind myself that art doesn't have to take weeks. I'm just getting a little overwhelmed right now with my paintings. The closest one to being done still has a good 10 - 15 hours of work left to do. The next closest isn't going to be done short of Christmas and the one after that, god knows. So last night I spent 5 minutes sketching out a fox with pencil and then worked off and on during the evening inking it. All told, I spent about an hour start to finish. Sure, its not great art but I really needed to FINISH something right now.

I'm going to need that (or a print, but... pretty metallics!), or something like it,
as a gift for PJ and Loren at some point. Because they need a little art
on their walls that's not anime posters, and they really like foxes. XD

...Although if you ever do an anthropomorphic fox, that would be even better for them...
