God damn it, I want this coat in heavy grey wool with less Stuff attached to it. Is that so hard? Why, oh why can I not find a winter weight wool coat with some flair to it? I've been looking for two years and this is the closest I've seen and its in *sob* cotton. Cotton! Like that's any material to make a winter coat out of.

I'm going to have to break out my sewing machine ... I just know it.

Edit: I also really like this one but I know me and a white coat wouldn't get along for more than 5 minutes.

Possibly in purple. *Eyes a mass of purple twill -
one of those few purchases of fabric that didn't already have a specific purpose*
(I just like cotton twill. If I need it heavier, I'll do a flannel layer between
the outer shell and the lining, if I need to. ;-) )

heh. Not really willing to buy a coat without trying it on first. There is an Anthropologies down near the prudential center. Maybe they have one in stock... I did just sell a harp and a bassoon, I could buy one if I really wanted it.
