So I am apparently allergic to the three most common things in the world ... dust, mold and trees. Yes, trees. Allergist said she could do another run of tests to narrow it down but with a reaction like mine, it would most likely show up as "all of the above" as far as pollen types. No wonder my nose is ALWAYS going. So now I have some generic claritin type stuff and a steroid nasal spray. My nose is going to be buff, man!

Okay, probably not.

I'd just be happy with it being dry for once.

I also learned that my carrying around epinephrine shots when I was a kid was pretty useless. I have a very extreme reaction to yellowjacket stings but its of the "massive swelling" kind, not the "wind pipe closes and you die" kind. Apparently what I should have been carrying was a strong steroid instead. Still more proof that the doctors at Huntington Hospital shouldn't be allowed to practice medicine on anything more complex than earthworms.

Volleyball tonight. Boy gets home tomorrow. Game Gathering for the Ages on Saturday. Work shindig Saturday night. Volleyball tournament on Sunday. Have to mail out art to ShowMeCon sometime this week and do more entry forms for a few others. Normally I'd skip the work party but I know who caters these things and the desserts are worth the hassle all by themselves.

Heh, I wonder if I'm the same way. My nose has run constantly since about first or second grade. I use steroid nasal sprays myself.

It is a little better in CO, but I think that's because it's dry enough here to turn a runny nose into...something else.

I don't need anyone to tell me I have a problem with dust. Allergy or not, it makes me sneeze big-time.

The medication seems to be helping. Definitely a reduction to the total amount of tissues needed per day.

As for friending, I don't mind at all. I tend to post fairly sporatically, though.

dude, you said 'shindig' and 'volleyball' in the same sentence and you're not even on our volleyball team named shindig. it must be a good omen for playoffs.

Not the same sentence, silly ... only the same paragraph. Good luck with playoffs, though. [profile] es5f has been keeping me up to date over zephyr.
