I'm in Albuquerque. Its April in the desert so all I brought was a fleece and that was mainly for when I was inside the testing room (kept a balmy 58 degrees).

Yesterday it was a lovely bright 85 degrees with clear skies.

This morning, it snowed.

Snow ... in the desert... in mid-April.

Now it is cold and blustery and going to get colder when the sun goes down.

Anyone know a witch good at removing curses? Cause I can't believe global warming is out to get me that much.

Yeah, that weather was partly responsible for ending my vacation early. We drove through Albuquerque just last night!

BTW, an interesting story: we were camping in NM on Tuesday night and my brother-in-law sighted (late at night) some flying machines whose description sounded to me like V-22 Ospreys. They flew like 150 feet over our position...probably even sighted us on IR or nightvision. I'm guessing these came out of the base near Albuquerque.

Of course. As soon as you leave, it gets sunny and WARM here. I was walking around in short sleeves. What's up with that? Does that mean we should expect a huge snowstorm when you come back?

seeing how my main credit card account got closed today due to "being compromised" and I now may or may not have enough credit on me to check out of my hotel room and pay for the rental car, I think you hit the nail on the head. Time to go make some sacrifices to the great god Murphy.
