fuzzies and friends
May. 31st, 2002 10:19 amAfter me telling my vet three times that "just draining it" was not an acceptable solution to tira's cyst, I think it might have sunk in. He called last night to tell me that he spoke with the exotic pets specialist at Tufts and they said "its filling to the point where you can SEE it...its making her stomach bulge funny??? Something is really messed up there. You aren't supposed to be able to see OR feel benign cysts. That's really dangerous." I told him that. So now Tira will go get poked and prodded by a couple of ferret specialists and they will hopefully be able to fix her. My vet is taking it pretty well. He offered to send along copies of her xrays and all of her tests so they won't have to redo them over at Tufts. I was afraid he would get all bitchy about the loss of monthly income and refuse to hand them over.
nuns is talking about going to see a play soon. I realized that its been well over a year since I've seen one. Anyone out there hear of a group doing "The Lady's Not For Burning" by Christopher Fry, please let me know. I'd be willing to travel to see a good production of it. Or "Antigone", which I have read many many times but have never actually seen on stage. Time to hunt out my Sophocles again.
