I'm not a people person to begin with. I'm downright bitchy when I'm short of sleep. So what did the fuzzy darlings decided to do but wake me up in some new and heart stopping manner every hour or so last night. Normally they wake me up once, I lock them out of the bedroom and that's the end of it. Last night, though, no go. Slamming against the door, by passing the scat mat to dig at the carpet, yowling, chasing each other up and down the stairs, slamming the bathroom door, you name it, if it made noise they tried it last night. I ended up sleeping down on the couch, as that seems to confound them.
We were supposed to be left out of the tech expo an hour ago. I am very, very tired. I don't mind talking to people. I don't mind talking to a crowd. But 8 hours of it (thing actually started at 10 this morning) has utterly exhausted me. Think I'll go home, drink pumpkin ale and finish my d&d character. No riding tonight. I have neither the energy nor the patience.
