Oct. 4th, 2005 07:34 amOn the up side, I have a four day weekend coming up. Friday we're shutting down for a planned power outage and we all get to work 10 hour days Monday - Thursday to make up for it. Next Monday is Columbus day and since we're good little government contractors, we get the day off as well.
On the down side, I will probably be stuck at the house all day Friday since the Brick REALLY needs to get in to a mechanic. There is the slight but definite smell of burning oil coming from her engine. It just appeared last Friday and I verified that it wasn't just me this weekend. I've hunted high and low for a leak and am currently stuck with the blown gasket theory. Since I don't really have the tools to hunt for that, I'll have to pay someone else to do it. She'll go off to ge worked on and I'll stay home and paint or mope or whatever it is I do when I can't go bug my horse on days off. Ah well, always more painting to be done.
