The Boy and I went and played last night for the first time since last summer. The level wasn't all that high. I was high-middling of the group and I haven't played hardly at all in three years. On the other hand, the level wasn't all that low, either. The worst players would have been good at Friday CS and the best players could have held their own at Saturday. All in all, I would say the level of play was right in between without much of a span between the best and worst. Boy and I held our own pretty easily. There were many oohs and aaaahs over the Boy's setting (Boy became a setter sometime while he was in CA, don't ask me why) and I didn't miss a serve.
Life is good.
And sore.
And my arms are now turning interesting colors. I hope the toughen up again quickly, otherwise my coworkers will think I'm being abused.
