And it only took about 4 weeks
Its Majic

I'm not sure if its still considered watercolor since I was using the paint directly from the tube for the sky area...

Now what do I do with it? The general consensious is that I have to give it to my brother and his wife, since its their kids. Note, they did not ask me to paint it. I told Gail I was doing it and she didn't ask to have it or even see it ...but its still her kids and I'm almost certain she'd raise holy hell if I sold it. Ah well, I'm going to sell and show prints of it anyways. If she wants to complain, I'll do a caricature of her and give it to my mother, who would display it.

Anyways, no more kids for awhile. Too many fiddleybits, parents included.

Um, ON it? Like across it or something? I generally don't like watermarking my stuff...

it's too good really - just trying to help you prevent people stealing your art

that is absolutely wonderful! Make a print of it and mail to the family, save the original for whatever you want to do with it. =)

yes, and put the print in a nice frame. Along with the framed print, send a nice note thanking them for letting you paint the kids, and explaining your plans WRT display and sale. At that point, if they complain it's their social problem, not yours.

I was wondering how you got so much texture out of watercolors...

Beautiful... I'd still consider it a watercolor... ^^ I looked at it and that was my first thought. I'm still trying to figure out how to make watercolors look right...
