joflasherYes, I did do some stuff besides painting this weekend. Saturday, Ross, the Boy and I went out to the Minuteman Nation Park in Concord and walked around a few hours. I definitely want to go back. They have the coolest trees and shrubs and stuff. Lots of places to take nifty photos. Silly me didn't bring a camera.
Then, on Sunday, the Boy and I went wandering in the Middlesex Fells park, which is right near our house. Its HUGE and you'd never believe you're only 15 minutes from downtown Boston. Lovely place. I was smart and remembered my camera that time. I had lots of fun stalking dragonflies to get pictures of their wings. Got a little mucky though.
Monday, spent 7 hours up at the farm digging holes for fence posts and building new fencing. We now have 2 new paddocks put up. The one still needs a gate but we built a temperary wooden one so it could be used. 7 hours is a lot of fence post holes when you're doing it by hand. I didn't even have the energy to ride when we were done. Came home, collasped, watched As Good As it Gets.
Today, cold and rainy. Time to break out the wool skirts again.
