God dammit! You would think that the book stores in downtown Boston would have a decent drama section but NOOOoooo. They have three times the books in romance than they do in drama and 95% of the damn drama section is Shakespeare. Nothing against Billy boy but, really, there were other playwrites in the course of human history. And talking to the teenage clerk just wasn't helpful. And they wonder why people like amazon.

"And as for you, you with no eyes, no ears, no senses,
you the most superstitious of all...
for what greater superstition is there
than the mumbo-jumbo of believing in reality?
You should be swallowed whole by Time"

hmm, have you been to Avenue Victor Hugo bookstore? I forget the exact address but it's on Newbury near the corner of Newbury and Massachusetts. It's Eli's favorite bookstore in Boston, and they seemed to have a lot of poetry/drama/etc selection...

Haven't been there but I'll make a point of finding it.

Is that the used bookstore you took us to when you were visiting?

If so, it's near Fenway.

I would also try the university bookshops. I think BU has a pretty well developed drama program, so they might have a good section in the bookstore. Don't hesitate to go to the textbooks area, either. I believe Tufts has a good drama program too?
