Robin McKinley has a new book out. How did I miss this?!?!?
Time for a Barnes & Nobles run, I guess.

Amusing incident #1: From one of my coworkers at an architecture review. "The code works but the problem is broken." This was said in a completely serious voice and it took him about 2 minutes to figure out why we were all laughing

Amusing incident #2: Last night, pre-D&D, showing off the Dryad prints. I mentioned my plan to show the prints at a few conventions and then put the original up for auction. [profile] wandlerust asked how much I wanted for it. I said I didn't know, more than $50. He instantly replied "I'll give you $53 right now". Immediately, [personal profile] nuns popped in with "$54!" Thanks guys. I truely have no clue as to what my originals are worth.

While certainly not an expert on fantasy art pricing, I'd say from what I've seen at conventions, you could probably manage to sell most of your originals from somewhere in the $50-$150 range. Probably in the higher end of that, but it's a pretty random process, so I've seen art that I thought was really good get much less than I thought it deserved, and stuff that I thought was crap go for high three figures.

If you put them up at an auction, and got a few people who were really interested in a piece, I wouldn't be surprised to see it go for $300-$500, but that would obviously be pretty situation, and the exception.

...al. Pretty situational.

I second that... I've seen nicely matted *prints* go for $50-$150, let alone originals.
But I also know that the market out here's a bit different than it is in the east...

I don't know if I've given you this link already, but here's the site for a somewhat established fantasy artist, Susan Van Camp:
http://www.artbysvc.com/
I saw her at gencon selling stuff. I like her work (but not as much as yours). She's has done a few magic cards, as well as D&D stuff for Wizards.
It should give you an idea of how to price stuff. Her originals go for at least $300 and prints from $15 - $60. Unfortunatley the site recently changed and the originals are no longer listed. :(
