tingly yarn balls and the rat who loves them

My latest order from the ferretstore.com arrived last night. I order from there about once every 6 - 8 months, namely when I run out of food. This order consisted of two necessities, food and hairball remedy, and two treats. One of the treats is just ferret snacks. The other is a little plastic ball w/ bell incased in a crochetted shell with a long crochetted chain hanging off of it. I wasn't all that impressed with it. The picture on the web looked better. Midori, on the other hand, has decided its the best thing since reclosable raisin containers. I drug it around, she chased it. This went on for a good 30 minutes. The outside was soaked with ferret spit by the time she got tuckered out. When I finally gave it to her to hide, she stuffed it in her sleeping place. Definitely worth the 4 bucks.

All I can think of was the time I made a catnip mouse for my aunt's cat, went to the bathroom, and came back in five minutes to find one very drunk Snowball and a *completely soaked* catnip mouse...
what does Tira think of it (or has Midori effectively forbade her from touching it)?

Tira ignores it but then Tira ignores everything that isn't a sock. I gave up buying toys for Tira. On the other hand, I'm sure she'll make a point of stealing it some day when Midori is ignoring her. The only time she wants the toys is if she wants Midori to wrestle and Midori is playing with the toys instead.
