Can I get a "OW!" from the audience?

Yep, had to happen eventually. The first snowboarding trip of the season. My leading knee has just recently begun talking to me again and lets just say its not happy. In fact, its fucking pissed and doesn't agree with this "bending" idea I keep trying to get it to do.

On the upside, I didn't have to start from square 1 again. I remember how to turn in both directions. After the first run, I remember that the best way to stop does not involve face planting. I spent most of the evening on the top of the mountain run that I ended on last year. Basically, I picked up where I left off. Life is good, if very sore.

I'm stuck at home today. Its not that I can't get out, its that it took me 45 minutes to go 1/4 a mile this morning. I turned around as soon as I could and came home. I have yet to find a convincing arguement to get me to try again. Java at home for me today....

Re: Java, how's the optimization going? Had a suggestion along those lines, which probably won't help, but can't hurt to try.
