joflasherI just saved myself and 3 other people hours and hours of redoing work through the proper application of the skill known as "finding someone who has prior experience with this software and ask them". For the record, that someone is my own personal hero for today and I now owe him a drink. If not for him, I would have ended up being here until 10 tonight frantically redoing a presentation that is needed for tomorrow.
Speaking of tomorrow, I'm on travel. I found this out at 1 o'clock today. One of my coworkers had been campaigning for me to go to this presentation because I have the most experience with the system being demoed. Hell, I built the system being demoed from scratch. He got shot down for various reasons, not the least of which is that I'm young, female and not all that impressive to a bunch of government type stiffs. Well, last minute, they decide it would be really useful if I could go and can I go and they know its a huge inconvience and last minute and ....
I had better get brownie points for this.
