Getting sh*t done
Aug. 23rd, 2004 02:12 pmFirst, I finally ordered tickets to San Fran to see all the west coast people. I haven't gone out there since the Boy moved back east and that was a good 4 years ago.
The Boy and I will be arriving around noon on Oct. 29th and departing at noon on Nov. 1st. We'll be staying with
starherd and
tg2k and Cade while we're there, so if you want to find us, look for them. We'll also be renting a car to make life easier on our hosts. I plan on heading to YaoiCon while I'm there. I'm still trying to work out the art thing. I'll be able to hang my art but not necessarily pick it up again. Maybe I should just do mail-in and not deal with carrying it on the plane.
Speaking of art, I have one picture 90% done that will be going to WorldCon. I have to get 2 or 3 little cheap shits done as well to round out my panel. I mailed all my existing little stuff down to DragonCon the other week and now I have roughly a week to get a few more finished. I have a bunch done that I haven't put up on my web page. I blame no internet connection at home. I'm a little stressed about showing at WorldCon but hey, at least I get to meet Theresa Mather. She's been kind enoughto agent for me. Go "friend of a friend" connections. I promised her and Barry dinner while they're in.
I also called the nice barn and told them I definitely wanted the stall. Next, I have to tell Carol that I'm leaving. I want to do it face to face, though. She deserves that much from me.
It looks like I'll be in Albuquerque, New Mexico for a good part of the end of November and the start of December. Anyone have any "must do's" while I'm there?

Date: 2004-08-23 11:52 am (UTC)It's a little early in the season for skiing, but I saw something on the news last night that makes me think ski areas might be expecting an early snow.
